Frequently Asked Questions 1.) I cannot log in to The Steel Index website
Check that you have the correct log-in details (email and password). Please note that these are case-sensitive. Capital letters must remain capital and lower case letters lower case. Please let us know if you wish to change your password or email. Another reason you may not be able to log on to the website is because your subscription (or trial subscription) has expired. If you would like to continue to receive our reference prices, please get in touch with us. If you are still having problems logging in, email us. 2.) I am not receiving The Steel Index weekly Reference Prices.
Firstly, please check that your subscription has not expired! Email us if you are not sure. If your e-mail address has changed, your account details on The Steel Index will need to be updated. Please e-mail us with your new address details. If your e-mail address has not changed, our emails may be getting caught in your SPAM filter – ask your IT department to add @thesteelindex.com or prices@thesteelindex.com to your safe senders list so that emails we send you will not get tagged as SPAM and filtered into your junk folder. Another reason may be that your fire walls are blocking our emails - you should contact your email IT department and ask them to white list our server.
